Bishopbriggs Tennis Club

Bishopbriggs Tennis Club is a friendly, vibrant club with over 150 members and a large junior coaching programme involving more than 100 juniors.
We have three blaes courts, which are open for play from April to October each year.

Our junior and senior teams compete in the West of Scotland league and cup competitions and there is a growing adult beginners coaching programme.

The club is also proud to be Tennismark accredited and of its excellent links with local schools.

The club was formed in 1962 and has always had an open, friendly and relaxed attitude. We think tennis is fun and should be played that way. Anyone can play, any day of the week. We have no restrictions on who can play - the only restriction is no play before 12pm on a Sunday.

There is no room for snobbery or stuffiness at our club, we want everyone to enjoy their time playing tennis with us. To help with this we offer a wide range of coaching from an LTA-qualified professional including adult beginner sessions and junior sessions from 5 years old upwards.

There is a strong social aspect to our club with club events at least once a month. We also have informal Gents and Ladies social tennis nights once a week.

For those who are competitive we play in the West of Scotland Tennis Association Doubles Leagues and have two Gents teams and two Ladies teams playing in divisions 3, 4, 6 and 7.

We are always looking for new team members so please do not hesitate to contact us! If you are interested in joining please visit or email our membership secretary for more information at
